Membership dues support the discovery, collection, and preservation of Grosse Ile's rich 245+ year history. The Grosse Ile Historical Society (GIHS) operates the 1904 Depot Museum, the 1873 Custom House, and the Naval air Station Museum as repositories for its collections and places to present exhibits and educational programs to the public. Under the GIHS' stewardship is the Grosse Ile Lighthouse which is located on private property.
Annual membership extends from (January 1st - December 31st).
