The Grosse Ile Lighthouse, also known as the North Channel Rear Range Light, is the last remaining light on Grosse Ile. Built in 1906, it is one of 129 Lighthouses in Michigan. It is no longer operational—but the views from the top are spectacular! Listen to a local expert explain the importance of lighthouses to ships that navigated through the Detroit River and learn about local history from other Historical Society members. Now on private property, the homeowners graciously allow the Historical Society to conduct our annual Lighthouse Tour—so take advantage of this opportunity and order your tickets!
Tickets may be purchased for $20 per person for members and $25 per person for non-members through Eventbrite or call 734.675.1250 to reserve your spot.
